Commerce Business Models in Fashion

In the commerce blog world, one rarely comes across posts that provide background and structure rather than digesting press releases. One of those was produced by Elizabeth Knopf recently. In The Business of Fashion she writes about Commerce Business Models, carving out Personal Subscription, Social Merchandising, Mass Customisation and Collaborative Consumption. She gives examples of companies which are using one of the four models (unfortunately only providing examples from the States) and explains the opportunities as well as the challenges of either of them. What can I say, get out and have a read yourself!
